Ngari Weather

Ali is a well-known desolate place in the heart of Qiangtang in the northern part of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. It is high in altitude, low in temperature with a lack of oxygen and less residents.

The annual temperature is relatively low with an average temperature of 0 ℃. The temperature difference between day and night reaches up to 20℃- 25℃. The extremely cold months are from November to April, especially in Shiquanhe Town, which is freezing cold all year round with a temperature of below 0 degrees Celsius.
