In addition to being one of the highest mountains in the world, Namcha Barwa is also the third most prominent peak in the Himalayas after Mount Everest and Nanga Parbat.
The best place to shoot the peak is Sejila Mountain Pass.
The best time to visit there is from March to April and from October to November. During these months, the temperature is generally low and the climate is dry. There is a higher possibility to shoot the holistic picture of the peak than from May to September. During December-February, roads to Namcha Barwa are easily covered with snow and thus are not safe for vehicles.
