Tibetan knives are not allowed on the plane, nor can they be checked in. You can send them home by post. The post office on Beijing middle road, north of barkhor street, is the general post office in Lhasa,which is the fastest among all the post offices.

The best place to buy Tibetan medicine is the Tibetan hospital opposite the square of Jokhang temple.

Tibetan incense was originally made for Buddhist rituals, which has become a popular souvenir for it can sooth the nerves and reduce pressure.
