Nagarze County is affiliated with Shannan City, Tibet Autonomous Region. It is located in the northern part of the Himalayas in the south of Tibet. It borders the Kingdom of Bhutan and is a border county with an average elevation of 4,500 meters. The nationality is mainly Tibetan. Due to its proximity to the urban area of Lhasa, it is generally only a transit station for dining and leisure. The Nagarze County is small in scale, thus there are few hotels, and the types belong to ordinary hostels and guesthouses. There are no star hotels, and only about 8 hotels all together.

Ordinary hotels can meet basic accommodation needs, infrastructure: bedding, TV, air conditioning, hot water (solar-based), independent bathroom (some hotels are toilets); no breakfast service and elevator.

The guest houses are all renovated from their own buildings. The decoration and utensils are relatively simple, but the infrastructure is complete and there are a few guest houses that can accommodate foreign guests. Therefore, it is not recommended to make temporary reservations during the peak season.

Since the vegetables and fruits of Nagarze County need to be transported from Lhasa, the price is relatively higher, the cost of eating is RMB 50 /person, and the restaurant is closed early in winter. It is recommended to prepare dry food in advance.
