How do travelers with Chinese Travel Document visit Tibet?
Recently, many parents consulting regarding their children traveling to Tibet during the summer vacation, but they are the Chinese Travel Document holders and ask whether they still have to apply for the Tibet Travel Permit. 1, The one who holds the Chinese Travel Document here is referring to the overseas born Chinese under 18 years old, one of the parents is a Chinese citizen, can apply for this Document. Generally, they may hold an overseas passport (Nationality), to apply the Chinese Travel Document, can enter into mainland China without a Chinese Visa. However, for those who is above 18 years have to choose a nationality.
